With over four decades of experience, I've been creating commissioned artwork since I was 11 years old. What began with pieces for family and friends has evolved into a professional service. While my gallery features primarily landscapes, my commissioned works often carry a more personal touch—whether it's a special landscape featuring your home or a horse portrait with you in the scene.

Quality

I create exclusively with premium artist-grade materials and high-quality canvases designed to last more than 100 years. As a fine art artist, I meticulously render each original painting 3-8 times as part of my artistic process.

When I work in the tradition of the Danish Golden Age painters—creating outdoors during summer months and completing works in my studio during winter. Commissions are primarily completed from October through March. While you can place orders year-round, expect delivery by April at the latest. Rest assured, I'll complete your painting as promptly as possible.

What

Commission pieces differ from my plein air summer paintings as they're created from photographs. While I prefer experiencing locations firsthand to truly capture their essence, the logistics of travel make this impractical for most commissions unless specifically arranged.

Pricing

Commission pricing varies based on complexity, reference materials, specific requests, and size. Generally, the more intricate the painting, the higher the investment.
