The Path of Curiosity

I love to paint the very small differences in Danish nature just before seasons are shifting. In this painting it is the slightly yellowish autumn colors create a warm and inviting atmosphere, signaling the arrival of autumn. The painting captures the quiet transition from summer to autumn and the eternal beauty of nature. I was also in love with the blue color of the sky, but choose to blur it out so the focus could be on the path.

I have actually painted this scene 3 times, because I just fell in love with it. 
It is extremely calming just to be there. You are just in the mist of nature. I enjoy relaxing and painting while listening to the birds and the small creek running besides med.

My many visits there have made me wonder about the symbolic in especially the 3 small tree hides the end of the road, which rises curiosity and invites the viewer to imagine what lies at the end.
